We will see her soon (16, 17 and 23 December) in a TV series on Rai Uno, entitled "Ognuno è perfetto" (Everyone is perfect), directed by Giacomo Campiotti, along with Edoardo Leo, Cristiana Capotondi, Nicole Grimaudo, Lele Vannoli, Piera Degli Esposti.
Alice De Carlo, a 25 years old lively girl from Rome with Down syndrome, plays the role of Tina. Rick, another boy with Down syndrome, falls in love with her, and he is willing to overcome any tests to defend his love.
A story that moves but also make us smile and teaches us that, if you get to know them, boys and girls with Down Syndrome have a lot to teach. Even at work.
But Alice is not just an actress. At present she works in a store of a telephone company in Rome, where she takes care of welcoming customers and activating Sim cards.
After graduating from a tourist school, with 91 out of 100, Alice has had several professional experiences that have enriched her so much and have made her a happy person, as she says.
"Work is an important thing," she explains. "My future is working. To live, to earn, we have to work.
And to her peers, with all the strength she has, she recommends: "Guys, if we want to get something, we must never give up. And most of all… let’s rock!".
